When it comes to indulging in a sweet treat, cheesecake often tops the list. However, for those watching their weight or following a Weight Watchers plan, enjoying a slice of traditional cheesecake can come with a lot of guilt. Well, look no further because this recipe for a Weight Watchers friendly zero point cheesecake is here to satisfy your dessert cravings without derailing your healthy eating goals.

Table of Contents

The secret ingredient in this guilt-free cheesecake recipe is Greek yogurt. By incorporating Greek yogurt into the filling, (I like fa*ge) you not only add a creamy texture but also boost the protein content of the dessert. Greek yogurt is a fantastic substitute for heavy cream or sour cream typically found in traditional cheesecake recipes. It offers a tangy flavor and helps to create a velvety smooth consistency that is just as satisfying as the full-fat versions.

To make this Weight Watchers friendly zero point cheesecake, you will need a few additional ingredients such as fat-free cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract, and a sugar substitute. By using these low-calorie ingredients, you can enjoy a slice of cheesecake without any guilt. Plus, since this recipe is zero points, it won’t affect your daily point allowance if you are following the Weight Watchers program.

The process of making this guilt-free cheesecake is simple and straightforward. First, you’ll need to prepare the crust using crushed graham crackers and a little bit of melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to create the perfect base for your cheesecake. Then, blend together the Greek yogurt, fat-free cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar substitute until smooth. Pour the filling over the crust and bake in the oven until set.

Once the cheesecake has cooled, you can top it with fresh berries, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or even a drizzle of sugar-free chocolate sauce to add some extra flavor without adding any additional points. The result is a delicious, creamy cheesecake that is sure to satisfy your dessert cravings without sabotaging your healthy eating efforts.

So, if you’re looking for a guilt-free dessert that doesn’t compromise on taste, give this Weight Watchers friendly zero point cheesecake a try. With the secret ingredient of Greek yogurt and a few simple substitutions, you can enjoy a slice of cheesecake without any guilt or worry about your weight loss goals. Indulge in this guilt-free treat and savor every bite!

What Type Of Pan Do You Use?

So, first off, I like to make this cheesecake in a spring form pan. Of course you can make it any round cake pan you choose but this pan sure makes things easier. The 6″ pan is the size I like to use. It’s a non-stick Springform. You may already have one but if not, you can find the one I like here. I see them all the time at stores like Homegoods too so you can search for one there as well. Trust me, after you make this recipe, you’ll want to make it again and again – so you’re gonna need a good pan.

What Is The Most Important Ingredient?

I believe that would have to be the sugar free jello pudding. That’s the beauty of this recipe, just change the flavor of the pudding and you have a different flavor cheesecake. If you like chocolate, use chocolate pudding. If you like banana, use banana pudding. Feel more like pistachio or butterscotch, knock yourself out by just changing up the pudding!

What Goes On Top Of The Cheesecake?

In addition to using just the right springform pan for making the Weight Watchers friendly zero point cheesecake, it is also important to consider the toppings and flavors that complement this guilt-free dessert. You can get creative with various options to enhance the taste without compromising on your weight loss goals.

One delicious idea is to top the cheesecake with a fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi etc. Fresh fruits are always a good choice in the Weight Watchers world because they add a lot of vitamins and fiber, without any points.

You can also made a homemade fruit compote to pour over the top of your cheesecake. Simply simmer your favorite berries or fruits with a touch of sweetener, such as stevia or honey, until they become thick and syrupy. This fruity addition will add a burst of flavor and natural sweetness to the cheesecake, making it even more enjoyable.

Another option is to add a sprinkle of crushed nuts, such as almonds or walnuts, on top of the cheesecake. Not only will they provide a satisfying crunch, but they also offer additional nutritional benefits like healthy fats and protein. You can lightly toast the nuts beforehand to enhance their flavor and aroma. I love to add a sprinkle of chopped pistachio’s to my cheesecake. Keep in mind, nuts do add points so use them sparingly and track your points.

For those who enjoy a touch of chocolate, consider drizzling a sugar-free chocolate sauce over the cheesecake. You can easily make your own by melting dark chocolate with a bit of coconut oil or unsweetened almond milk. This decadent addition will satisfy your chocolate cravings while still keeping the dessert low in points.

Experimenting with different flavors is also a great way to keep things interesting. You can add a teaspoon of mint extract if your prefer a minty taste, or a hint of lemon zest to the cheesecake batter for a subtle twist. (Lemon cheesecake with blueberries on top is one of my favorites)! Alternatively, you can infuse the Greek yogurt with a drop of almond or coconut extract to give it a unique flavor profile. Top it all off with a touch of cinnamon and your have yourself a decadent, zero point masterpiece.

Remember, the key to enjoying this guilt-free dessert is portion control. Although the cheesecake is zero points, it still contains calories, so it is important to note that one slice is zero points. If you have a second slice, the calories will begin to add up and it is no longer zero points. So savor a slice and do not go overboard.

By making smart choices in terms of toppings and flavors, you can create a customized Weight Watchers cheesecake that suits your taste preferences while staying on track with your healthy eating efforts.

Why Is This Watchers Cheesecake Recipe So Good?

I don’t know but I can tell you that is just is. I have tried several recipes at this point and in my opinion, this one is far and away the best. Everyone loves it when I make it; even if they are not on Weight Watchers. They say they can’t tell the difference. Try it for yourself and watch your family go nuts over it.

Warning: you might have to make two so you get a bite!

It’s Time to Make Cheesecake:

Now that you are ready to make cheesecake, here are a few more ideas to sweeten the mix: try any of the fruit toppings from the Weight Watchers Zero Point List and make this delectable dish your own. I like mine with fresh strawberries, but you can use blueberries or even applesauce with a little added cinnamon and voilà! An awesome, “Mom can I have another piece?” dessert that will have them begging for more.

Make sure you are using sugar free, fat free Jello. I like to use Jell-o Pudding because I really enjoy all their flavor varieties. As far as I know, Jell-o makes sugar free instant pudding in banana, cheesecake, chocolate, chocolate fudge, pistachio, vanilla and white chocolate flavors. You can purchase any brand you like in any flavor you desire.

You can really mix this recipe up and make it in a different flavor each week if you so choose. Enjoy!

The texture and taste is fabulous but 30 minutes was not long enough to bake. Mine was not set in 30 minutes.

I’ve made this a couple times and I really like. However, how do you get zero points? I created the recipe in my app and it comes up as 2 points for 1/8 of the cake/pie for me.

I’m excited to try this! I am in Canada & had to order the sugar free cheesecake pudding online. One question though is the stevia powdered or liquid? its hard to tell from the photo. Thanks!

I do too – so which is your favorite? I think chocolate might be mine. I’ve gone to Walmart and purchased every sugar free flavor that they have. I think you got them all :)) Enjoy and let me know. Laurie

I made this recipe and it was good. It did not taste like real cheesecake but it will certainly do when you are trying to lose weight. I used the sugar free cheesecake pudding and I personally feel like I could use 2 boxes instead of one as it did not have a cheesecake flavor. AND, I used my 9 inch spring form pan and it did not look like your picture when set. It was about 1 inch high. I will probably double the recipe if I make it again. However as I said if you are trying to lose weight this will certainly do for a great dessert.
